The Guardian ™ remote mount radio is a high power, feature-rich 110W mobile unit that has the same features and operating interface as the regular 5W and 50W mobiles. It has a separate control unit for up-front mounting and a 110W power amplifier for remote mounting in the vehicle. It is fully digital and meets APCO Project 25 standards including the common air interface for interoperability with other Project 25 radios. The Guardian ™ also operates as an analog radio, fully compatible with conventional wideband systems.
