Datron offers two series of ruggedized, P25-compliant portable radios that operate in Trunking and conventional modes, across the VHF-UHF-700/800 spectrum, utilizing AMBE and AMBE +2 Advanced Vocoders for digital voice clarity and operating at 5W maximum output.

The Guardian conventional VHF portable permits keypad programming and has a full line of accessories.

The newly introduced Guardian Series II radios offer VHF, UHF and TriBand portable options.  These units have multiple faceplate configurations, adjustable display layouts, internal optional GPS receivers, and up to ten programmable auxiliary buttons.
