Datron SAFARI™ Tactical Wireless Networking System provides the critical equipment elements to plan, execute, and deploy robust multiband, multimodal high-capacity, network-based strategic and tactical data, video, and voice systems for any-time any-where operation. By deploying a cross platform “Tactical Wireless Router” users can interconnect a wide variety of communications devices and link them to a command and control site via a highly reliable mesh network.
The SAFARI can be tailored to fit a wide range of demands from quick response DHS applications to tactical battlefield requirements which providing communications to all operational echelons. The SAFARI can also serve as a relay when users are deployed in difficult environments. By setting up a temporary mesh network, users can access the network from any of the SAFARI units, using any of the configured medias to do so.
The Datron SAFARI is housed in an environmentally rugged, purpose built platform that provides local and wide area support for emergency and temporary state of the art communications in nearly any climate and global power source. SAFARI allows users to integrate radios, sensors, video sources, which can all be forwarded to a remote command and control center. The primary mission of SAFARI is that of a network aggregator where various voice and data feeds can be concentrated then routed for real time tactical communications, observation and decision making.

Analog and control inputs for each legacy device are digitized, converted to IP protocol and routed as required.
